  1. Readme file for Windows Command Line Processor (WCL) for Win32 and Win16

  4. This file contains installation notes for WCL.
  5.  
  6. Installation
  7. ------------
  8. To install your copy of WCL, run the program "SETUP.EXE" which is
  9. included with the package. You can do this either by selecting
  10. "File, Run" from the Program Manager or File Manager main menus.
  11. If you are running Win95, click on the "Start" button, select
  12. "Run", and then type A:SETUP.EXE (or if your copy of WCL is on
  13. another disk drive, then supply the path to that disk drive.

  15. Running SETUP.EXE will load the "Chief's Installer Pro" setup package
  16. that will guide you through the installation of WCL.

  18. Alternatively, you can simply just copy all the WCL program files into 
  19. a directory on your hard disk, and then create a Program Manager (or
  20. start menu) icon for WCL.EXE and BIGWCL.EXE.

  24. The WCL package contains the support files for the "Chief's Installer
  25. Pro" setup package, and then the following WCL program files;

  28.    2.  BIGWCL.EXE      (WCL main executable)
  29.    3.  CTL3DV2.DLL     (binary LIB file needed by all the executables)
  30.    4.  WCLCODE.DLL     (binary LIB file needed by all the executables)
  31.    5.  WCLCODE2.DLL    (binary LIB file needed by all the executables)
  32.    6.  WCLTOOLB.DLL    (binary LIB file needed by all the executables)
  33.    7.  WCLSHAR1.WXX    (binary LIB file needed by all the executables)
  34.    8.  WCLSHAR2.WXX    (binary LIB file needed by all the executables)
  35.    9.  WCL.INI         (initialization file for WCL. Please read it!)
  36.    10. WCL.HLP         (WCL help file)
  37.    11. FILES.WCL       (long descriptions of files are kept here)
